When your neighbor offers "extras" from the garden, say "yes" - and bring some to church. When you go to the Saturday Farmers Market, pick up a few vegetables to share. Place your donations in the box in the Great Room. We share everything collected with First United Day Care families and staff. With over 85% of day care children receiving tuition subsidies, these donations of fresh produce will help; supplement the garden they have been tending all season. The kids love to learn about how our food grows and all about nutritious food choices.
