Teacher Appreciation and Summer Children, Youth and Family Plans

Words cannot express the appreciation I have for our Christian Education teachers.  They are simply amazing.  First Church has been blessed with excellent teachers, but our teachers have gone above and beyond this year as they have taught on Zoom since March and continued through the end of May. 

Thank you to Nancy Humphrey and Jennifer Pushee (Pre-Kindergarten), Nancy Mathews (Kindergarten-Grade 2), Sally Huck (Grades 3-5), Lisa Kiesner and Kari Hammelink (Grades 6-8), Pastor Justin (High School), Ruth Walls (adult), Pamela Garside-Meyers (Children's Education, Middle School confirmation and Adult).

This summer, monthly activity packets will be sent to families for opportunities for Christian education in the home, mission, and Zoom.  The first packet has been sent this week and focuses on the day and season of Pentecost.  All families with children from nursery age through high school are receiving these packets.  If you have not received one, please contact Pamela Garside-Meyers at pgarside@wi.rr.com or Pastor Susan at susan@firstumckenosha.com
