Starting June 1, First Church will be using Church Teams for electronic giving.
During the pandemic, we were able to use the Annual Conference electronic giving through Vanco. Through our apportionments, no transaction fees were charged to First Church. This program of the Annual Conference is coming to an end May 31. We thank the Annual Conference for this possibility that we were able to access on short notice. We thank all of you who financially gave electronically during these months.
As we begin a new process, you may give electronically one of three ways through Church Teams. 1) You may go to our website, www.firstumckenosha.org, and click on the "Give" button. It will take you straight to the information needed to give. 2) You may text to Church. Put the church's phone number into your contacts, 262-658-3213. Then text to the church's number. In the message box type "Give" and it will take you straight to the information needed to give. 3) You may access your personal information on Church Teams by going to www.churchteams.com , locating First UMC, Kenosha and then entering your personal phone number or email which will take you to your membership page where you can click the "Give" button. You may also download the Church Teams app onto your phone and access your information through your phone.
You are able to give towards your pledge or for special giving such as "Love in Action" or "apportionments" or other special giving opportunities electronically. You may also help the church by choosing to pay the transaction fees by clicking the appropriate box. Your transaction fees, if you choose to pay them, will appear on your contribution statement as a tax deductible contribution. If you choose to not pay these fees, simply do not click or unclick this box. The church is billed for transacti
on fees on a monthly basis. Transaction fees are based on type of giving ie ACH (least expensive), debit/credit card or rewards credit card plus the total amount given.
