Friends of First Church on Sunday, October 25, we will have a joyous celebration to honor the ministry of Pastor Justin Elliot Lowe despite the constraints of a pandemic and no in person worship! We will have a drive by celebration complete with cookies, blessings, balloons, and much honking and hoorays!
Here’s the plan. October 25 is also Love in Action Sunday. So from 9--12 you can bring your donations to drop off in the Sheridan road parking lot. Then a little ways down near the Chapel window you will see Pastor Justin. There will be folks there to hand you a cookie and a slip of paper. The paper is to write a blessing for Pastor Justin to drop in the blessing bowl that will be available. You may choose to write your blessing at home and just drop it in or perhaps you want to give him a card. All blessings will be welcomed. However, you give Pastor Justin your blessing don’t forget to honk and wave! We truly want to make a joyful noise for his ministry!
Perhaps you aren’t able to participate in the drive by, but want to share a love offering with Pastor Justin. If so please send your donation to the church office made out to First United Methodist Church by Friday, November 23.
