The tradition continues on. I am so grateful for the Thanksgiving Dinner leadership of Kris Brown, Pamela Garside-Meyers, Will and Stina Rios and Deb Barrientos. They have been meeting and working weekly to ensure that Thanksgiving meals get distributed.Â
The team is receiving donations to purchase pies and other meal items. Each pumpkin pie costs $6. Send and mark your checks "Thanksgiving Dinner" to First Church. Contributions can also be made electronically through the Give button the website or by dropping them off at the next Love in Action Drive Nov. 22, 9a - noon.
