Holy Week is upon us. Take a moment to post these items on your calendar and invite others to share in our Holy Week worship experiences.
Palm Sunday - March 28. The service will be pre-recorded and posted. Our worship will focus on the five essential practices of the Christian faith and the seven last words from the cross.
Pastor Susan will be at the church on the west side of the building from 10 a-noon to distribute palms, communion cups for Maundy Thursday and crosses for Good Friday. Stop by to say hi and receive these items to prepare for your Holy Week Walk.
Maundy Thursday - April 1, 7 p
Our worship will be live over zoom. The link to join us is embedded in this message and will be posted on the website. On Maundy Thursday, we will hear the story of this holy day and share in the sacrament of Holy Communion. You may either pick up a communion cup from church March 28 or have bread and drink ready to share. If you are unfamiliar with zoom, email me and I will send out directions for downloading the zoom app. susan@firstumckenosha.com

Good Friday - April 2
The service will be pre-recorded and posted. Worship will focus on the stations of the cross.
David Orr will be singing "Were You There?"
Easter Sunday - April 4
The service will be pre-recorded and posted. "Christ the Lord is Risen Today" will be the featured hymn. We will also experience the United Methodist Global Choir singing Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus."
Our children and youth will present a special, virtual "Easter Pageant." They will retell the Easter story for us. You will not want to miss viewing this.
Love in Action will happen from 10 a - noon on Easter Sunday. I also look forward to seeing you and wishing you a blessed Easter Sunday and season.
