Starting next week, we will take a look at the theological lessons found in three popular movies. Aug. 20 "UP" Aug. 27 "Inside Out" Sept. 3 "Beauty and the Beast."
Our sanctuary will look a little different. We will be using our blow up screen so we can show clips from these movies to help illustrate the weekly messages. A regular size screen will be used in the chapel.
Films open our minds to new ideas and different perspectives. With the power to spark emotions and inspire change, they help us make sense of our world and see ourselves and others in a new light. We hope that you will consider inviting others to join you for this series. While it will be fun, each of these movies hold profound lessons that can be found in our Christian scriptures and teachings.
