Faith and Health

The Bible and our Christian tradition says a lot about faith, health and healing. Come and join us for one week or four as we focus on spirituality and well being. Prior to the class there is a 13 question assessment that can be filled out anonymously. The assessments will be compiled with compilations shared during the class.

These assessments can be found at the Welcome Center in the Great Room and returned there prior to July 14. Bring your Bible with you to the first class.

August 11 and 18 Searching for Sunday: Loving, Leaving and Finding the Church by Rachel Held Evans

A few weeks ago, Christendom lost a powerful thinker and voice. Rachel Held Evans, age 37, died after being admitted to the hospital with the flu. We will discuss the stories and insights from Evans as she writes about her thorny relationship with the church as a young adult and articulates the concerns, frustrations and hopes of so many of her peers. Searching for Sunday can be obtained from your local library or through Amazon.
